  • Google Meet

    Published 12/01/21

    Dear Parents/Carers,

The work on Google Classroom has been exceptional and we are all so proud of the children- thank you for all your support and patience during these difficult times.

I am pleased to say, we have been increasing our use of Google Meet (on Google classroom) to have live teaching sessions with pupils. This Friday, at 9 am, pupils will be able to log onto Google Meet and speak to their class teacher. We have instructions on how to use Google Meet on the website. You can find this: Learning- Remote Learning-Google Meet. The instructions will also go up on the stream on Google Classroom.

To safeguard everyone, please ensure the following rules are followed:

Turn off cameras unless the background is clear (we should not be able to see anyone else).
Behaviour should reflect as if they were in school- respecting each other, listening.
    Mute the screen unless asked.
Two adults in each session - say hello

As this is new to us all, please bear with us.

On Friday 9th October 2020  we  will be raising money for a charity organisation called ‘Young Minds’, which supports young adults with mental health issues. ‘Hello Yellow’ is a National Project, where the country raises awareness of Mental Health in schools amongst pupils. On this day we will have a non-uniform day and we would love to see your children dressed in yellow!
