In school, children will learn about how to act responsibly and  respectfully whilst using the internet through interactive assemblies and in-class teaching.  Children have also had the opportunity to enter our Safer Internet Day competition.

At home, please remain vigilant when your children are using the internet to ensure that they get the most out of this amazing resource and continue to act as great online ambassadors for the school.

The challenge is happening across all Newham libraries until 30 January, its free to join and suitable for children of all ages. Of course if you are an adult reading this and would like to challenge yourself to read three books over the holidays, then please feel free to join in!
Children taking part in the Challenge will receive a reading folder to rate and review the books they have been reading and will collect an arctic animal sticker for each book read and a certificate when they have read and returned three books. So pop along to any Newham library with a library card where a member of the library team will be happy to help.
Children can also join in the online challenge from The Reading Agency at  www.wintermini.org where they can unlock virtual prizes, discover new reads and take part in games, quizzes and competitions.
