The Winter Reading Challenge - Newham

The Winter Reading Challenge

Across all Newham Libraries 6 December - 30 January
Brr It's cold outside. So now is the perfect time to pick up a cosy, wintry read and take part in our Winter Reading Challenge. The challenge is happening across all Newham libraries until 30 January, its free to join and suitable for children of all ages. Of course if you are an adult reading this and would like to challenge yourself to read three books over the holidays, then please feel free to join in!
Children taking part in the Challenge will receive a reading folder to rate and review the books they have been reading and will collect an arctic animal sticker for each book read and a certificate when they have read and returned three books. So pop along to any Newham library with a library card where a member of the library team will be happy to help.
Children can also join in the online challenge from The Reading Agency at  www.wintermini.org where they can unlock virtual prizes, discover new reads and take part in games, quizzes and competitions.
