Extended Schools

At Shaftesbury, we encourage as many children as possible to take part in extended school activities. We want all children to have the opportunity to be part of a team, group or club where they can develop personally, socially and learn new skills.

Breakfast Club

At Shaftesbury, we have a breakfast club every day from Monday to Friday. Our Breakfast Club is open to Reception, Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Children need to arrive between 7:45am and 8:00am to ensure they get a healthy breakfast. Children can choose between cereals, toast with jam or beans and fruit juice. After breakfast, children can play games, draw and colour, play football or just sit back and relax before school.

Breakfast Club costs £1.50 a day. If you would like your child to start breakfast club please bring them through the main office and pay at the desk. Card payments only, we cannot accept cash.

After School Clubs

We offer after-school clubs to children from year 1 to year 6 from 3pm-4pm. Clubs are led by our dedicated teachers.

This term clubs will run from W.B 22nd Jan 2023 to W.B 25th March 2023.
